Above: an AutoCad plan of Area E. Area E was heavily excavated buring the earlier expeditions of Goldman and Walker. It's most prominent features are the Archaic (Yellow) and Hellenistic (Light Blue) fortification walls and towers, and particularly the Northeast Gate Complex of Halai.
